Support That Stays Close To Home
Community involvement hits differently when it’s happening in the same neighborhood where you live and work. As one of our team members puts it, helping locally can feel like a “mission trip, but in your own backyard.” That perspective keeps us paying attention to the people right around us.
Much of our involvement centers on kids. We’ve been heavily involved with Opportunity Camp and Teen Flow, an after-school program for junior high and high school students that includes meals and teaching about Jesus. A welcoming setting matters, especially when it gives young people a “place to go and a place to belong.”
We also support food pantries and other local efforts. These acts of support may look different from one another, but they share a simple purpose: helping strengthen the area we call home through time, care, and genuine attention to our neighbors.
