About
Amy Standard serves as General Manager at First Service and has been with the company for more than 10 years. She originally joined the team in 2016 as the company’s Accountant before stepping into the General Manager role in 2023. Today, Amy oversees both the financial operations and day-to-day management of the company, bringing a hands-on leadership style and strong operational experience to every aspect of the business.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas in 2004. She began her career with the City of Bridgeport, Texas, where she served as Director of Financial Services from 2004 to 2013. After relocating to Midland, Texas, with her family in 2013, she continued building her accounting and leadership experience as an Accounting Manager within the Oil & Gas service industry before joining First Service.
Known for her dedication, practical approach, and commitment to both employees and customers, Amy takes pride in helping lead the continued growth and success of First Service.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff, their children Kaylee and Maeson, daughter-in-law Mariah, and granddaughter Morgan. In her free time, she enjoys playing games, needlepointing, and relaxing with a good binge-worthy TV show.
