"The Bush Tennis Center in Midland, Texas, underwent a major transformation and expansion project that turned the ACE Athletic Center facility into a multi-sport training complex. The expansion was transferred to Athlete Quest to grow youth sports opportunities across West Texas.
Project Highlights
The expanded Modern Athlete Training Facility at the Bush Tennis Center site includes a wide variety of state-of-the-art sports features designed to meet regional tournament and athletic training needs:
- Indoor Turf Field: A 50 to 60-yard indoor turf facility for sports training (football, soccer, lacrosse).
- Hardcourts: 5 basketball courts and 8 volleyball courts.
- Training Area: A 12,000-square-foot, high-performance strength and weight room.
Background & Funding
- Support: The project was backed by a roughly $1 million promotional and funding agreement from the Midland Development Corp. (MDC) alongside public and private commitments.
- Site: The center is located at 5700 Briarwood Avenue in northwest Midland.
